2018 n̓qilxʷcn̓ sy̓ʕaʔ / Summer Immersion Symposium

On July 20 & 21, 2018, Salish School of Spokane will be presenting a two-day training for Native language teachers, program managers, and activists.  Participants will learn about the fluency transfer system and language acquisition curriculum developed and used by Salish School of Spokane and its partners to create new speakers of our highly endangered languages. Participants will then be guided in the development and use of the curriculum system with their own languages. At the end of the symposium, participants will come away with usable curriculum and templates that can serve as the foundation for developing their own fluency transfer system and language revitalization curriculum.

Only 20 participants will be admitted to this hands-on training, so please register and submit payment as soon as possible.  Seats are guaranteed once payment in-full is received by card or check (sorry no purchase orders).

Participants are responsible for making their own arrangements for transportation and lodging.

Below, please find the symposium registration form.  Please complete and return the form by July 2, 2018 for early-bird pricing.
